A Brief History of Nickelodeon (Southeast Asia)
Here's a brief history of Cartoon Network's rival, Nickelodeon in Southeast Asia. The channel was launched in the Philippines on November 5, 1998 as a 24-hour English-language channel. Then, the network expanded into Indonesia, Malaysia & Sri Lanka via pan-regional feed broadcast from Singapore since 1999. Back in the day before August 22, 1999, it aired original animated programing such as Rugrats & The Angry Beavers. I don't what other Nicktoons premiered on Nickelodeon in Southeast Asia after August 22, 1999 but I have to find out soon if I have to tell my mom to call the post master to ask some questions about it.
