From 1995 to 2001, Cartoon Network was once a 15 hour cable channel in my country. At 9 p.m. till 6 a.m., the channel was switched over to TNT (later Turner Classic Movies in 2000) & lasted until June 30, 2001 Saturday when Cartoon Network became its own 24 hour channel the following day. For me in my childhood, I would turn off the TV at 9 in the evening.
Remembering my childhood from February 13, 1998 Thursday to February 12, 2008 Tuesday.

Dexter had no connection with Velma whatsoever
I watched that interstitial on Cartoon Network as a kid in the early 2000s.

TCM & Cartoon Network (2000–01)
On April 2, 2000, TNT was rebranded as Turner Classic Movies. Cartoon Network was still time-shared with TCM, operating from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Turner Classic Movies, formerly TNT, taking the remainder of the daily schedule. On July 1, 2001, Cartoon Network Asia became a separate 24-hour channel, with exclusive local feeds for the English-speaking areas in the Philippines, India & Australia.

During the early & mid 2000s, Asian children eat Nestlé cereals every morning such as Trix, Koko Krunch & Honey Stars. Were in the US & Canada, it had General Mills cereals like Lucky Charms & Cocoa Puffs. For Koko Krunch, it had a koala mascot named Koko & the cereal are choco petals so it's the great chocolatey taste. So, here's the commercial.

Eat Breakfast cereals everyday
During the late 1990s & the early 2000s, Asian children eat Kellogg's cereals every morning such as Frosties, Coco Pops, Rice Krispies & Corn Flakes. However, one cereal from Kellogg's was not made in the United States & that's Chocos. The cereal had a bear mascot named Choco & it looks similar to Nestlé's Koko Krunch. So, here's the commercial.

Before The Powerpuff Girls, There was Sailor Moon
Back in 1998, I watched Sailor Moon S on ABC 5 (now TV5) when the show was dubbed in Tagalog. I do know that the Tagalog dub version of Sailor Moon premiered on ABC 5 in 1994, one year before the English dub premiered both in Canada & the United States. One of a lot of things that annoys me in the Tagalog dub is Sailor Moon's speech before the battle begins, "Ako ang magandang tagapagtanggol ng pag-ibig at katarungan! Ako si Sailor Moon! Parurusahan kita sa ngalan ng buwan!" ("I am the good champion of love and justice! I am Sailor Moon! Punish in the name of the month!"). During the airing of Sailor Moon S on ABC 5 in the Philippines, Sailor Moon aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block every Weekday afternoon at 4 PM in the United States as of June 12, 1998 Friday. In Canada however, Sailor Moon still airs on YTV until 2004. The only season of Sailor Moon that was not English dubbed as of today is Sailor Stars, although the last season of Sailor Moon aired on ABC 5 in the Philippines in the early 2000s & it was Tagalog dubbed. Usagi Tsukino was named Bunny in the Tagalog dubs of Sailor Moon & Sailor Moon R while she was named Serena in English dubs of the four seasons of Sailor Moon. The English dub of Sailor Moon also airs in the UK, Australia & New Zealand. With the exceptions of a few anime shows such as Yaiba, all the anime shows on ABC 5 were dubbed in Tagalog, same goes to ABS-CBN, GMA 7 & IBC 13 prior to 1999, August 22, Sunday at 8 AM to be exact. The Tagalized Sailor Moon theme song was sung by Angelika Dela Cruz & I shouldn't dare to listen to that. The first English dub of Sailor Moon was done by DIC Entertainment for the first 2 seasons & edited down to 82 episodes, The next one was done by Cloverway Inc. for the next 2 seasons & the episodes were edited by Cartoon Network in the United States. It makes 166 episodes in total. In the Tagalog dub however, it had 200 episodes & 5 seasons so far on ABC 5. I hope I should be watching the English dub of Sailor Moon which was done by DIC & Cloverway & I should soon looking forward for the English dub of Sailor Stars by Viz Media for another year. Amen to the Sailor Scouts.
UPDATE 2/23/2019: Viz Media will release the English dub of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars this May.

Cartoon Network shows on GMA
In 2000, I watched Cow and Chicken on GMA when I was 5 years old & the show is on a NTSC format rather a PAL format that I watched on Cartoon Network. I watched a few episodes of the show on GMA. A year later, GMA first air both Johnny Bravo & The Powerpuff Girls when I was 6 years old. The Powerpuff Girls aired every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 4 pm while Johnny Bravo aired every Tuesday & Thursday at 4 pm. The Powerpuff Girls on GMA is Tagalog dubbed while Johnny Bravo remains in English. I can still continue to watch The Powerpuff Girls on GMA until 2002, I should continue to watched that show on Cartoon Network with new episodes. I can remember Dexter's Laboratory on Studio 23 also.
I still watched them
When Cartoon Network started 24 hours a day in my country on July 1, 2001 Sunday, I watched reruns of original shows such as Dexter's Laboratory, Cow and Chicken & I Am Weasel. However, Dexter's Lab got new episodes on Cartoon Network between 2002 & 2004. In the mid 2000's, I can still watch Cow and Chicken & I Am Weasel on Cartoon Network when they're still in reruns. As of today, Dexter's Laboratory is the only Cartoon Network original that I could always remember.

How come I watched Tagalog dubbed anime?
Between the mid 1990s & the late 2000s, Filipino children watched Tagalog dubbed anime on TV & they enjoyed it except for me. Tagalog dubbed anime started with Voltes V on IBC 13 in 1989 & it was short-lived. In the early 1990s, ABS-CBN started airing Tagalog dubbed anime & it will continue the tradition for years to come. Just before August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT, Tagalog dubbed anime shows were aired on TV networks such as ABC, GMA & IBC. In the 2000s, most Tagalog dubbed anime shows were aired as well like on RPN, Studio 23 & Q. In 1998, I watched Ghost Fighter on IBC before it aired on GMA a year after. I watched Mojacko on GMA between 1998 & late 1999 & I don't like when it's not English dubbed. I don't even like Dragon Ball Z on GMA ether because it uses the word Kamehame-wave instead of Kamehameha. After Ghost Fighter disappears on GMA on August 6, 1999 Friday, it comes back in the mid 2000s. In 2006, I watched a cable channel called Hero & it's a channel that airs Tagalog dubbed anime shows. Between October 30, 2009 Friday & today, I don't like Tagalog dubbed anime in my life. I guess ABC still airs Sailor Moon as of August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT. I'd rather skip it for now.

Those were my days
I remember watching animated TV shows in English on every Local networks in the Philippines like ABS-CBN, ABC, GMA & RPN & I watched every animated show in English on UHF networks like Studio 23 & Q. That's between August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT & February 13, 2008 at 10:25 am PHT when I was 4 to 12 years old at that time, I already watched Christian animated shows on ZOE-TV between April 19, 1998 Sunday & August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT. It been 8 years since I watched TV when it was not Christian related. I was in Sulucan, Bocaue, Bulacan back then & I was moved to Quezon City in 2007. The shows that I watched on every Local networks in the Philippines were Superman: The Animated Series, The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, Codename: Kids Next Door, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, SpongeBob SquarePants, Rainbow Fish, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Pokémon, The New Woody Woodpecker Show, Dragon Tales & more. I also watched shows on UHF networks like Batman Beyond, Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai X, Justice League, Franklin, X-Men Evolution, Poochini, Voltron: The Third Dimension & The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Holy Week is what my parents enjoy between 1995 & 1999 when I was from a baby to a Preschooler when they watch Holy Week specials on TV. During the late 1990's before August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT, my parents buy pirated VHSs & VCDs of some animated movies when we're not in a movie theater in every mall like SM & Robinsons. The problem is that the end credits were cut off when every movie is over. After that, my parents buy original VCDs of animated movies like Toy Story 2, Shrek 2, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, Chicken Little & Monsters Inc. Between 1999 & 2002, I watched Sesame Street on GMA during Seasons 30 to 32 every Weekday morning which I enjoyed the animated segments than the street scenes involving the Muppet characters which were not really animated characters. I refuse to watch CGI & Stop-motion movies between the late 1990's & the early 2000's until October of 2005, although I watched Robots & Madagascar in a movie theater in SM already before October in 2005. From 2006 onward, I enjoyed Computer animated movies & TV shows such as Bee Movie, Cars (film), Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Pet Alien, Open Season (2006 film), Meet the Robinsons, Over the Hedge (film), The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Kung Fu Panda, Space Chimps & more. As far as I can know, there are 3 Computer animated movies released in Philippines as of August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT which is Toy Story, Antz & A Bug's Life. Before & After August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT, I watched movie trailers of upcoming animated movies on IBC which I sadly didn't go a movie theater in every mall like SM & Robinsons when the movie's released. From 2002 to 2005, I lost my chance on watching Disney Channel when Home Cable removed it. Nickelodeon was also removed from the cable lineup until 2003, few months before the Post-1948 Warner Bros. cartoons first aired on Cartoon Network in my country. In 2000, I watched Popeye and Son on RPN 9 before I watched The All New Popeye Show on Cartoon Network a few years later. As a kid, the shows that I have to mute the volume are Codename: Kids Next Door & Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends but I decide it to watch with volume after October of 2005. I avoid watching Tagalog dubbed anime & cartoons before & after August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT because Tagalog is not my favorite language as of today. I should enjoy reliving those memories.

The fear of the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo
During the late 1990's & the mid 2000's, the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo scared me as a kid whenever the VHS tapes were played.
Here's my reaction.

The Cartoon Network shows that I truely miss
When I was 8 years old, Cartoon Network started to air new episodes of every original show like Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls & Samurai Jack but three Cartoon Network original shows never continue with new episodes nor renew for another season as of November 3, 2003 Monday at 6 pm PHT.
1. Courage the Cowardly Dog
I first watched him on The What a Cartoon! Show before August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT. Later, he would get his own show after 1999. The plot evolves a dog named Courage who is rescued by Muriel who lives in the middle of Nowhere with is husband, Eustace Bagge. But when creepy stuff happens in Nowhere, it's up to Courage to save his new home. Whenever Courage sees something scary, he screams a lot which it irritates me in my opinion. Many people said that this is the scariest Cartoon Network original show to date. I refuse watch that show in the mid 2000's on TV after school.
2. Sheep in the Big City

I sadly didn't watch the pilot episode from 2000, but I watched the entire show on TV. The show was the last original show to premiere on Cartoon Network in my country months before it becomes a 24 hour channel in 2001. The shows evolves a sheep named well, Sheep, who leaves the farm & moves to a new life in the big city. Unfortunately, the Secret Military Organization, commanded by General
Specific, wants to use Sheep in its new sheep-powered ray gun (with a
sheep-shaped hole in it). So now Sheep is on the lam(b) from General
Specific, who is assisted by sidekick Private Public, the Angry
Scientist (who in the show, the characters sometimes wrongly refer to as
the Mad Scientist), a bunch of other military types, and, last but not
least, by the Plot Device. I remember that show as a kid because the animation reminds me of Sesame Street which one of the animated segments were done by the show's creator, Mo Willems. Unlike Courage the Cowardly Dog, I still watched that show in the mid 2000's on TV after school.
3. Grim & Evil
First of all, I watched both pilots. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy "Meet The Reaper" & Evil Con Carne. Second, I watched Grim & Evil & it watch great, I think. Billy & Mandy is a segment about two neighborhood kids who force the Grim Reaper to be their best
friend forever after defeating the Messenger of Death in a game of Limbo, while Evil Con Carne is segment about the disembodied brain of an evil genius who wants to take over the world that was transplanted into a moronic circus bear. One episode that I like about the show is Trouble With Skarrina & I recommend it. Later, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy becomes a show of its' own which I remember watching it & Evil Con Carne becomes a show of its' own which I didn't watching on Cartoon Network in my country because 1. The show is short-lived & 2. I watched The All New Popeye Show & other American cartoons before November 12, 1989 Sunday on Cartoon Network. Well, I watched reruns of Grim & Evil after November 3, 2003 Monday at 6 pm PHT after school on TV.
Cartoon Network fans wish that they want bring the shows back with new
episodes but it's too late now except for Courage the Cowardly Dog. I'll never forget these shows on Cartoon
Network. Next year however, Warner Home Video would release those three
shows on DVD in a NTSC format with the exceptions of the first 2 seasons of Courage the Cowardly Dog. I just want to relive my childhood memories back I should avoid watching current preschool shows again from 2002 to today.

The Station IDs aired on Cartoon Network in the Philippines between 1999 & 2001
Back in 1999, I remember watching those IDs when I was 4 years old. I was still at Sulucan, Bocaue, Bulacan when I was alone or with somebody, that's before every show on Cartoon Network came on such as Dexter's Laboratory & Johnny Bravo. Between August 22, 1999 Sunday & June 30, 2001 Saturday, Cartoon Network in the Philippines is still 15 hours.

I Love Cartoon Network
Back in the 1990's & 2000's, Cartoon Network is always in my childhood. My favorite show on Cartoon Network is Dexter's Laboratory. The one show that I watch but I didn't like is The All New Popeye Show.
