Happy Valentine's Day!

I remember watching a Valentine's day special on Cartoon Network twice as a kid in 2004, although it was produced in 1979 with late Daws Butler as Wimpy in the special. Popeye fans think this special would air on MeTV Toons in the United States soon.

Let's volt in!

On January 15, 1999, GMA Network started airing reruns of the original English dub of Voltes V which was the first anime to air in my country back in 1978. The anime series was finally concluded in my country with the compilation film subtitled "The Liberation" that June in theaters. One of the few things that annoys me was that Steve Armstrong screaming the name of robot after volt in sequence was complete, & he never shuts up. Anyway, GMA airs reruns of Voltes V every Friday night at 7:30 p.m. before Daimos until September 24 when the classic anime was replaced by Pokémon the following week. Oh, & I can forget the Filipino dubs from late 1999 onward & the live action version subtitled "Legacy" last year.

Winter time for Popeye

Here's an episode of The All New Popeye Show that doesn't have to do with Christmas when I watched it on Cartoon Network as a kid.

I always watched that episode of The All New Popeye Show on Cartoon Network so I didn't miss a single scene. These cartoons was produced by Hanna-Barbera in the late 1970s & the early 1980s because Mel Blanc is still alive.
