How come I watched Tagalog dubbed anime?

Between the mid 1990s & the late 2000s, Filipino children watched Tagalog dubbed anime on TV & they enjoyed it except for me. Tagalog dubbed anime started with Voltes V on IBC 13 in 1989 & it was short-lived. In the early 1990s, ABS-CBN started airing Tagalog dubbed anime & it will continue the tradition for years to come. Just before August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT, Tagalog dubbed anime shows were aired on TV networks such as ABC, GMA & IBC. In the 2000s, most Tagalog dubbed anime shows were aired as well like on RPN, Studio 23 & Q. In 1998, I watched Ghost Fighter on IBC before it aired on GMA a year after. I watched Mojacko on GMA between 1998 & late 1999 & I don't like when it's not English dubbed. I don't even like Dragon Ball Z on GMA ether because it uses the word Kamehame-wave instead of Kamehameha. After Ghost Fighter disappears on GMA on August 6, 1999 Friday, it comes back in the mid 2000s. In 2006, I watched a cable channel called Hero & it's a channel that airs Tagalog dubbed anime shows. Between October 30, 2009 Friday & today, I don't like Tagalog dubbed anime in my life. I guess ABC still airs Sailor Moon as of August 22, 1999 Sunday at 8 am PHT. I'd rather skip it for now.

  1. Well, at least ABC aired an English dubbed anime called "Yaiba" in 1995 which I watched it in the late 1990s when I was 2 to 3 years old.
